IOSD is pleased to be an official partner of the Euler-Franeker Memorial University, with which both institutions share a common origin in the original and intergovernmental EUCLID States. At that time (2008), IOSD (previously an international NGO) became an affiliated institute within EUCLID and (among others) another institute was established, “The Eurostate University Institute.” Its original intention was to train international civil servants in European Law and Administration. This institute evolved into the Euler-Franeker Memorial University Institute and eventually into a fully chartered university within the European legacy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Today, IOSD cooperates with EULER (Euler-Franeker Memorial University) to develop practical programs in sustainability studies.
